Question:

I am an I-SWIS facilitator. Is it a good idea to share my Facilitator Training Account with a school who is interested in getting started with I-SWIS? I use the account during Swift at I-SWIS training, but should I share it when a school is just exploring whether they want to use the application at all?

Answer:

The Demo Account the perfect first place to send anyone with an interest in seeing I-SWIS. It’s full of data and gives people a way to explore what the application does without worrying about saving information they shouldn’t. If they’ve taken a look at the Demo Account and want to see how they might set up specific measures, your training account is a nice place to see if the application can fit the school’s unique scenarios. You can give an in-person overview of that functionality or you can share the login with certain people in the building. When sharing login information, let users know about some of the more complicated features in the application and how they will make more sense after more in-depth training.

Your Facilitator Training Account is yours; use it however you need to use it. Trust your knowledge of the features and your relationship with the school to determine what’s appropriate.
